FIST (Chuck Taylor & Johnny Gargano) vs. The Kentucky Buffet ("Original Recipe" Matt Cage & "Extra Crispy" Alex Castle) from IWA Unlimited 2011: Match Spotlight Series#78

The Buffet are the IWAU Tag Team Champions, and they are defending them against FIST.

My Thoughts on the Match:


The Buffet were in control early until Gargano and Taylor started to use illegal double teams.  They started to work over Cage after Gargano hit him with his Gotcha! spear.  Castle eventually made a hot tag, which allowed Cage to hit a suicide dive on Taylor.  Castle and Cage then hit a nice combo move on Gargano, but Taylor recovered to make the save.  FIST came back and hit a big combo move on each of the Buffet, but they survived.  The Buffet then hit a series of big moves on Gargano to win the match and successfully defend the titles!

This was a real solid match.  FIST are so talented that that they can probably have a good match with anybody (not named Atlantis & Rey Bucanero of course).  The Buffet though are clearly talented.  They have a big opportunity coming up at Resistance Pro (against The Rock 'N' Roll Express!) and I hope it goes better than the squash match they got to work for DGUSA (who should give them another chance).
