Shaq vs. The Big Show at Wrestlemania?

Retired basketball superstar, Shaquille O'Neal recently said in a radio interview that he is in "talks" for a match with The Big Show at Wrestlemania 2012.

Views from the Hawke's Nest: I don't know how I feel about this.  First off, The Rock vs. John Cena should put the WWE over a million buys this year (unless they botch the build even worse than they have done so far).  Second, this seems like something that will distract from all the other matchups.  I think I would prefer if they had Shaq wrestle in a tag match at Summerslam, but that may just be me.  Also, a lot of wrestlers who work full-time are probably going to be pissed off that another Wrestlemania spot is going to an "outsider."

What do you guys think?

The fifthteenth edition of the Hardway is online! Join Jon as he talks to Sebastian Cruz. Some might know him as Chrono Chris. Some might know him as Angelo LoFaz, the janitor from the Trenton Sports Arena. Others might know him as Bobby Howard, the guy who faced Mark Henry on an episode from Smackdown earlier in 2011. Regardless, he IS Sebastian Cruz and he talks independent wrestling. He talks how he got into the wrestling business, his experiences with Afa the Wild Samoan, the WWE, a funny story how he got the Bobby Howard name in WWE for the one night in Philadelphia, and life as an independent wrestler. This is a must-listen podcast and trust me, this is something every independent wrestler will want to hear!

Also, Stan Stylez' "Hottie of the Week", Tristen Law's "Law of the Ring", the Awesomely Bad Promo of the Week, and talk on the possible closing of the ECW Arena. The Hardway is online. CHECK IT OUT!

Fire Kevin Camps

This column is my homage to Fire Joe Morgan , which was a blog (run by sitcomwriters) that picked apart lazy sports (mostly baseball) journalism from about 2005-2008. I still find myself rereading some of their posts because they are so damn funny and insightful. Like all homages, this will naturally be inferior to what they did, but I shall try my best.

So, I stumbled upon this article written by Kevin Camps, that discusses his live event experience at the very first Resistance Pro show. To say that the author of this article is ill-informed about pro-wrestling would be a gross understatement. In an apparent attempt at humor, the author used this article as a soapbox to demean all those who call themselves wrestlers and all those who call themselves wrestling fans. I normally don't wish to promote negativity, but this guy really got under my skin.

If writers on the internet do not hold each other to high standards, no one else will. Here we go (everything in the article is in bold; my comments are not in bold)...
